The Dresden Dolls return with new fall tour dates

Last summer saw Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione reunite as The Dresden Dolls for their first tour in over half a decade. This fall, the cabaret rockers will return for another series of shows, this time far more intimate than the last.

The dates kick off, fittingly, on Halloween at Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club. The Dolls will then play three concerts at Paradise Rock Club in their hometown of Boston. The venue holds special meaning for the band, as it’s where they filmed their 2005 live DVD, The Dresden Dolls: In Paradise. The iconic music hall will also be celebrating Keep Reading

Tears For Fears reschedule co-headlining dates with Hall & Oates

Due to a “family emergency,” Tears For Fears recently postponed their US tour, including a trio of co-headlining shows with Halls & Oates. They’ve now rescheduled those dates for September.

All original tickets will be honored for these rescheduled dates (fans who are not able to attend the new dates are eligible for refunds at point of purchase).

Daniel Johnston announces final tour dates with Jeff Tweedy, Built to Spill

Daniel Johnston is ready to retire from the road, but not before one last run of tour dates. The lo-fi avant hero has announced a unique fall tour which will see him backed by a rotating assortment of bands that “he has influenced” in different North American cities.

In Chicago, for example, he’ll play with Jeff Tweedy & Friends. Both The Districts and Modern Baseball will join him in Philadelphia, while Built to Spill will tag along in both Portland and Vancouver. Members of Keep Reading
