Erol Alkan has announced a new remix compilation, Reworks Volume 1, which is due for release on November 3 via Phantasy.

The 20-track double CD, 5 x two-track 12” compilation pulls together some of Alkan’s “best and most loved remixes” from the previous decade’s golden era of blog house  – and beyond.

Le Guess Who? has revealed its full lineup for 2017, with John Maus, FACT Rated artists Sudan Archives – who will play her first ever European show – and K Á R Y Y N all set to perform at the Utrecht festival.

A rare performance by Canadian singer-songwriter Mary Margaret O’Hara, curated by Perfume Genius, along with the European premiere of The Ecstatic Music of Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda performed by the Sai Anantam Ashram Singers (in collaboration with Luaka Bop) have also been announced.

Producer and DJ Mike Dunn is releasing his first LP since 1990 – My House From All Angles – out this December on his own Blackball Muzik label with MoreaboutMusic Records.

Dunn, a contemporary of Larry Heard, Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles during the explosion of house music in the late ’80s and early ’90s, was a seminal progenitor of acid house.
